About Me
I keep mission-critical, PCI-DSS payment platforms reliable at scale — running production, DR and staging on Azure (AKS), with Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher and Helm orchestrating microservices across cloud and a large on-prem estate. I automate everything I can: infrastructure as code with Terraform and Atlantis, configuration with Ansible, GitOps and CI/CD on Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, scripted in Python, Bash and PowerShell. I run on SLIs/SLOs and error budgets, with deep observability through Datadog, Splunk and Grafana, plus shared on-call for incident response. I secure the perimeter with Fortinet, F5 and Cloudflare WAF under ISO 27001, handle identity with IAM, SSO and RBAC, and operate Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows Server alike. Over 20+ years I've grown from the data center to cloud-native SRE — bridging both worlds and running cloud not just reliably, but cost-efficiently with a FinOps mindset.
